About Re:Vault

Re:Vault is a fast, private study browser made for Chromebooks. It brings your reading, research, and study tools together in one clean, distraction-free workspace - complete with tabs, history, a built-in library, and a fully customizable theme.

How it works

Re:Vault loads and reads pages through a fast in-browser engine and a secure, encrypted connection, so everything stays smooth and private. You can fine-tune how it connects in Settings.

Features

• Tabbed reading with history, drag-to-reorder, and per-tab loading.
• A built-in library of books and a Worksheets launcher for your school and study apps.
• A full toolbox - calculator, notes, converters, a whiteboard, and more - that runs entirely on your device.
• Flashcards, Learn, Test and Match are free, with no daily limits, and we won't put them behind a paywall.
• Flashcards that bring cards back around the time you'd start to forget them, with Mixed review across your decks. Learn, Test and Match are made on your device from your own decks.
• A universal theme system - accent color, light/dark, fonts, wallpapers, and density.
• Extensions - opt-in add-ons you switch on and off: ad blocker, bandwidth saver, dev tools, dark mode for any site, read-aloud, highlighter, picture-in-picture, and more.
• Focus & privacy controls: a private mode and a customizable workspace.

Re:Vault is built on open-source software and is distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license.

The Vencord (beta) extension uses Vencord by Vendicated and contributors, under the GPL-3.0 license. Its license, notices and source code are at /licenses/vencord/.
